Do you need donor eggs or donor sperm to have a baby?

About our donors

Our sperm and egg donors donate only to us, and are healthy, fertile men and women who want to help others to have a baby. All are UK based, many are local to us, and have passed the strict medical criteria to become HFEA-registered sperm and egg donors. Importantly, they have all received thorough counselling from our team to ensure they understand very aspect of sperm and egg donation before proceeding, including the fact that they are identifiable to any children born, so your child has the chance to find out who their donor is if they wish to, when they turn 18.

Choosing your donor

Choosing your donor can be an exciting time. Through our highly successful Manchesterdonors.com recruitment programme, we offer an extensive range of sperm and egg donors, from professional, executive men and women to those who already have children and want to help others. But how do you know which donor is right for you?

Our dedicated Donation Team is here to help you with donor selection. Tell us what qualities and physical characteristics you’re looking for, and they will match you with any available donors in our database.

Our profiles go beyond the typical basic details like height and hair colour. Did you know our donors also complete personal pen portraits, including a letter of goodwill to you and any child you have? This is so you can understand more about who they are. As our donors donate only to us, we get to know each of them very well - allowing you to choose your donor with confidence.
