When you donate eggs as part of your private IVF cycle to help someone else to have a baby, our focus is always to give both you and the recipient of your eggs the highest chance of pregnancy.

This is achieved not only through the latest advanced techniques and innovations such as EmbryoScope time-lapse monitoring, Blastocyst transfer and EmbryoGlue, but by giving you your own personal support network covering every stage of your egg-sharing cycle.

When you egg-share with us for reduced-cost IVF, you’ll be looked after by our comprehensive, compassionate team dedicated to giving you only the very best care:

Dedicated donation team

Our Donation Team supports all the women who donate eggs with us, both altruistically and by egg-sharing. They will arrange your initial appointments and screening tests, and help to ensure a seamless, stress-free start to your journey as an IVF egg-sharer.

They help you write your personal egg donor profile, which helps someone decide if you’re the egg donor for them, and are by your side every step of the way, giving you personal help as you need it.

Counsellors

Our counselling team are highly experienced in helping women make a confident choice in egg donation in all its forms. Donating eggs does have its own implications both now and in the future, and our counsellors will ensure you’re aware of all your rights as an egg donor, the rights of the person who uses your eggs and any child she has.

Egg-sharing carries its own unique implications too that you need to consider, including how you may be affected if your egg recipient becomes pregnant but your own IVF cycle is not successful.

We’ll discuss all these aspects with you, so you’re fully prepared to be an egg-sharing egg donor.

Fertility nurses

Our fertility nursing team takes care of you throughout your IVF cycle procedures, including teaching you how to self-inject your fertility medications, during your egg recovery and embryo transfer in our clinic theatre, and on our private ward. They are here to help support you through your treatment outcome when you take your pregnancy test.

Laboratory team

Our laboratory team are the experts that oversee fertilisation of your collected eggs and select only those embryos for transfer with the highest potential for pregnancy. They’ll be able to tell you how many eggs have fertilised, how many quality embryos you have for your treatment cycle and arrange preservation of any quality remaining embryos for future use.

Fertility support midwife

Our support doesn’t end when your pregnancy test is positive. Ourfertility support midwife Lynsey Moorhead supports you during the crucial early days of pregnancy, arranging your first pregnancy scan at our clinic and transfer of your care to your local NHS maternity unit.
