Donor eggs IVF no waiting list

Are you considering going abroad to have donor egg treatment because of waiting lists or cost reasons? You don’t need to go to an overseas clinic if you need an egg donor – you can stay in the UK and have treatment with donor eggs right now at Manchester Fertility.

We have patients come to us from all over the UK because we have our very own donor bank. So if you’re ready for the next step in your IVF journey and want to go ahead with donor eggs, we can help. We are proud to say we have been creating families for over 30 years.

Through our own egg donor programme, we have UK egg donors of all characteristics available with no waiting lists.  Plus a choice of affordable donor egg treatment packages, so if you’re ready you can start treatment straight away. You can have treatment with us up to the age of 50.

Having a baby using an egg donor: How it works

When you have treatment using donor eggs, it is much the same process as IVF –except that the fertility medications used are focused on preparing your body for pregnancy.

Donor eggs are fertilised by your partner’s sperm – or donor sperm from our sperm bank if you also need a sperm donor – with the best resulting embryo transferred to your uterus. You can freeze any good remaining embryos for future treatment.

Your choice of donor eggs – fresh or frozen

We’re one of the only fertility clinics in the UK that is able to offer both fresh and frozen donor eggs to patients with no waiting lists. It’s up to you which you prefer to use in your treatment, but here are the main differences between the two for you to consider:

Fresh donor eggs: Using fresh donor eggs involves synchronising your treatment cycle and the donation cycle of your donor. In general, fresh donor eggs have a slightly higher success rate than frozen.

Frozen donor eggs: Frozen donor eggs are already stored and ready for use in our egg donor bank, so you can start treatment straight away. Frozen donor eggs also offer good pregnancy rates due to the modern freezing methods we use – 50% of women using frozen donor eggs from our donor bank achieve pregnancy with us.

Our egg donors are healthy young women aged 18-35, who are donating to us either altruistically to help others to have a baby or through our egg-sharing program. All our egg donors are traceable and identifiable to your child in future.

Donor eggs treatment packages

We know that treatment cost is one of the biggest concerns if you need an egg donor. We offer a number of different packages to fund treatment with donor eggs, including fixed-price single-cycle packages and discounted multicycle packages that offer up to two cycles of treatment with donor eggs.

Supporting you emotionally

You’ll be looked after by our dedicated Donation Team when you have treatment with donor eggs.

Our Donation Team is highly experienced in the needs and care of women and couples using donor eggs. They are here to give you all the advice and help that you need, are by your side along the way and help to organise your treatment and find your egg donor.

You’ll also be supported by our friendly counsellors. Our counsellors are here to listen and help you through your treatment, and will explain the unique and special implications of using an egg donor, including how to tell your child how they came to be born.

Getting support and help from someone who understands what you’re going through is so important when you’re having treatment – especially when you’re also using an egg donor and all of the sensitivities and emotions that this involves.
