Testing for Natural Killer cells (NK cells) is relatively new and claims have been made that women who have had failed IVF may have raised levels of these cells.  Some clinics offer a range of treatments to suppress NK cells.  Professional bodies i.e.  RCOG and British Fertility Society state that, to date, there is little scientific evidence that these treatments are beneficial and that you should only be offered these therapies as part of a clinical trial.
