Hi there please can you advise us. I'm 31 years old a recent laproscopy showed adhesions that have plastered my tubes on top of my ovaries therefore preventing egg capture. I have an 11yr old from previous relationship that resulted in emcs. My consultant has reccommended a laparotomy to remove these adhesions. Is there a good success rate with this surgery? Will I be able to concieve naturally? I have clear tubes and regular cycles.

As you are only 31 years old you will have a good chance of success with IVF. You need to ask your surgeon about the chance of success with the surgery as it is difficult to answer this question without your full medical history.
