Can PCOS affect egg quality? Can the protocol affect egg quality? 17 were collected and 10 fertilised. However all eggs were poor quality and slow progressing. Only 1 made it to blasto and had moderate fragmentation. How can I improve egg quality or is it just luck of the draw?

There is some evidence to suggest the PCOS can affect egg quality. Usually if you have PCOS a large number of eggs are collected during IVF and some of these may be immature. There is nothing you can do to influence this although keeping your weight within normal range will have a positive effect.
