Hello, I am 34 and my husband is 36 with diabetes. He uses insulin. His diabetes is not in control and sometimes is as low as 30. I have been trying to conceive for two years now. Had IVF in October 2013 but THT also failed. I am extremely worried. Please help. What should I do?

Please note that all the answers we give are on a generic basis only, as we cannot provide more in-depth answers without access to your medical history. If you need a more detailed response, tailored to you, we would recommend a consultation with one of our Fertility Specialists for more comprehensive medical advice.
Diabetes can cause problems for male fertility. I would advise you to seek further help from your clinic. Although one IVF cycle has failed we always say that we learn a lot about a couple on their first IVF attempt and your clinic may be able to alter your treatment to improve the chance of success.
