At 41 years old I understand the odds of getting pregnant are slim and I have always had irregular periods. I came off the depo injection three months ago after a year and last month had a light period but nothing since. Is there anything I can do to get them started again as my husband and I are trying to get pregnant. I have three children from my first marriage and didn't have any problems getting pregnant.

It might take 6 to 12 months to recover after Depo-Provera. It would be a good idea to have an assessment of your hormone profile (thyroid function test, prolactin, LH and FSH) and a ultrasound assessment. If all this is normal then it is possible to induce ovulation using either clomid or FSH injections. It is also important that your husband has a semen analysis to check everything is OK on his side before you commence any treatment.
