Polyps

Hello!My name is Kate and I'm 42 years old.For 3 years I have been trying to have a baby and I have had 3 in vitro procedures.The problem is that I always have endometrial polyps and had 3 hysteroscopies.Nobody can explain why I have polyps and if there is some prevention.Can you help me?

Hi Kate, Polyps are an over-growth of the endometrial lining of the uterus. They can recur, and can appear during IVF treatment cycles due to the higher levels of oestrogen as a consequence of stimulating your ovaries to increase the number of eggs collected.
