Is IVF the only option?

I don't ovulate properly and as a result have been on clomid or 8 months with a pregnancy that ended in miscarriage at 6 weeks. My husband has no problems we have been referred for IVF? Is this our only treatment option?

It is not advisable to use Clomid long term so I agree with your doctor that it would be sensible to consider IVF. An alternative treatment is stimulated IUI where you have injections of FSH to help you ovulate and then have an insemination with your husband’s sperm.
