Presuming you had a progesterone test a week after ovulation, you should do a pregnancy test 12 days after this test. If you are not pregnant and still do not have a period after 40 days you should arrange to have an ultrasound scan. A follicular cyst can often be the problem. You should definitely have an ultrasound scan before commencing a further Clomid cycle.
