Blood tests for male infertility
Hi Brian. I have performed two semen tests, both of which had a zero count, and I have been diagnosed with azoospermia. I have now had blood tests performed. What are the possible treatments post blood tests, and is it still possible that I will father my own child?

Please note that all the answers we give are on a generic basis only, as we cannot provide more in-depth answers without access to your medical history. If you need a more detailed response, tailored to you, we would recommend a consultation with one of our Fertility Specialists for more comprehensive medical advice.
The only way forward is to attempt surgical sperm retrieval. I would suggest you see an Urologist with a special interest in male factor infertility and depending on your medical history and your hormone levels they will be able to advise you on the chance of successfully retrieving sperm.
