I am undergoing IVF next month using frozen eggs. The consultant wants to transfer one embryo however I want two. I am aged 47.

If you are having treatment using frozen donated eggs from a young egg donor it would be much more sensible to transfer one embryo. Transferring two embryos does not increase your chance of a pregnancy but does increase your chance of a multiple pregnancy.
