If you’ve got a genetic condition in your family history, or a condition which affects you directly and you’re concerned about it being passed onto any children you have through your infertility treatment or IVF, we’ve welcomed onto our consulting team genetics expert, Dr Ian Ellis.

Ian joins us on a consultant basis. So you’ll be referred to him if you have a potentially inherited condition in your family, or a condition which is affecting your own fertility.

Ian has over 20 years of expertise in his field, at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, and specialises in fertility-related genetics and the development of genetic screening programmes – so he will be able to identify any risks, and give you all the information you need to help you make informed, knowledgeable decisions about your fertility treatment options.

We also welcome onto our specialist fertility team Dr Anamika Rao. She has special interest in recurrent embryo implantation failure and miscarriage, so will be able to advise you if you’ve had repeated failed IVF or infertility treatment cycles elsewhere.

The expansion of our team with the addition of both Dr Ellis and Dr Rao is an exciting time for us and for you, our patients. As a clinic we believe we have one of the most experienced and professional teams of fertility experts in the UK right here in Cheshire, who can help you no matter what your circumstances or diagnosis. Each of our consultants has special interest in different fertility problems – whether it’s male factor infertility, ovulatory problems or conditions such as Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome – so you will always see the most appropriate fertility specialist to suit your individual and personal circumstances.
