If you’re thinking of having IVF or infertility treatment at a private fertility clinic in Cheshire or Manchester, you may be concerned about the costs of your treatment and that when anything is done for you, as part of your treatment, it will involve a fee.
At Manchester Fertility we’ve always aimed to ensure that our fertility help and expertise is accessible and available. And that’s why you’ll find that we don’t charge for certain procedures, unlike other private infertility clinics.
These procedures are offered free of charge at Manchester Fertility:
Blastocyst transfer:If you have embryos that are suitable for Blastocyst transfer, then you will be offered this free with no charge. A Blastocyst is an embryo that has been allowed to develop for longer after fertilisation in our laboratory incubator. As the embryo is at an advanced stage, we can identify the best embryo to transfer which increases the chance for the embryo to implant.
EmbryoGlue:All embryos are developed in our laboratory in a breakthrough culture medium called EmbryoGlue. Studies have shown that EmbryoGlue helps improve the chances of pregnancy following infertility treatment. Your embryos are placed into EmbryoGlue just prior to transfer and the high level of hyaluronan it contains – a natural substance in the body which increases at the time of implantation in natural pregnancy - helps the embryo to stick by increasing the adhesion of the embryo to the uterus. We do not charge you to have your embryos developed in this special solution.
Counselling:You are automatically offered two free sessions as part of your treatment plan, with our counselling team. This is to ensure that you have access to specialist support and an impartial listening ear, if you need it. We understand the emotional impact infertility treatment can have on both you and your partner, and so counselling gives you the opportunity to talk to our team which has vast experience in guiding people through their treatment journey.
