If you’ve never visited a fertility clinic before, you may be wondering what you’ll find at our new fertility clinic in Cheadle, Cheshire. We have some of the best facilities to help you have a baby, all under one roof:
State-of-the-art laboratories:Our cutting-edge andrology and embryology laboratories, which are kept to the rigorous standards demanded by the HFEA, are where we do some of our most important work: the creation of your baby’s new life. Your eggs are fertilised in these rooms, and sperm is analysed and selected here for ICSI procedures under our microscopes. As a clinic we are committed to research as we strive to develop new techniques, and our laboratories are where this work is carried out. We specialise in studies on embryo development and embryo selection, in partnership with experts from the University of Manchester and Central Manchester NHS Trust.
Ultrasound services:We have our own ultrasound room at Manchester Fertility, enabling us to offer ultrasound services using the most modern scanning equipment. This includes initial pre-treatment scans, such as to check your ovaries, and also a scan to confirm your pregnancy.
Theatre:Our theatre is where your eggs will be retrieved and your embryos transferred. It features all the necessary equipment to carry out these procedures, including a monitor where you’ll be able to see your eggs and embryos on-screen.
Private ward:All patients have their own private room with comfortable facilities, on our ward. Our nursing team is on hand to provide compassion, care and support to you no matter how long you are with us.
Expertise:We are proud to say we have some of the most experienced fertility consultants in the UK here to help you have a baby, with specialists in many areas including male factor infertility, recurrent miscarriage and ovulation problems.
Treatments:We offer the best, evidence-based treatments to help you overcome your fertility problem. Whether it’s IVF, ICSI, IUI or treatments using donor sperm or donor eggs, you will be treated at our clinic for your entire journey. Procedures, which may involve the use of anesthetic such as some Surgical Sperm Retrieval techniques, will involve attending a different unit, but you will remain under our care and are referred for that part of your treatment only.
