In your husband’s case azoospermia (no sperm in the ejaculate) has occurred by either the tubes that the sperm travel down becoming blocked possibly by infection or if there have been hormonal changes which affect sperm production. I would advise you husband to have a hormone test to establish the possible cause of the problem. If his hormonal levels are normal it may be possible to extract sperm surgically which could be used in an IVF cycle.
