What's next after clomid?

I'm 30 years old and I'm on my 4th cycle of clomid for PCOS. I had a miscarriage after my 2nd cycle of clomid what would you recommend as the next treatment? My husband has been tested and has no problems.

Using clomid for ovulation induction is the gold standard first line treatment in PCOS if you are not ovulating.  If you conceive with clomid you have a good chance of conceiving again.  Unfortunately miscarriage is a common outcome however I would advise a pelvic ultrasound examination if this has not been done in the last 12 months.  I would also recommend a scan during your cycle with clomid to check your response and a day 21 progesterone blood test to monitor your luteal phase. You could check your prolactin level, thyroid function and full blood count.  If all these are normal I would suggest you carry on with clomid for another 4 cycles.
