IVF at 39

Q: I am 39, almost 40. Regular periods, always ovulate, good follicle count, clear lap operation. As a single woman, opting for sperm donor, what is the best MOT for me to purchase? I will perform ICSI if my own eggs are too thick.

A: You need to check your LH, FSH and oestradiol between days 2-4 of the cycle and AMH at any time. You also need an ultrasound of your ovaries and uterus.

I would recommend ICSI with frozen donor sperm for optimal results.
