I am 44 years old, I had a pregnancy last year but unfortunately miscarried at around 6 weeks. Shortly after this I had a blood test and an internal scan and was informed I am in the menopause, I would still like to have another child but need to know what options I have if any so I can talk to my partner before moving forward.

Please note that all the answers we give are on a generic basis only, as we cannot provide more in-depth answers without access to your medical history. If you need a more detailed response, tailored to you, we would recommend a consultation with one of our Fertility Specialists for more comprehensive medical advice.
You may still conceive naturally but at your age and if you are menopausal the chances are reduced. At 44 IVF using your own eggs is not recommended but treatment with donor eggs is an option.
