Hi, I am 32 years of age and have been sterilised for nearly 12 years. Is IVF treatment my best option?

Please note that all the answers we give are on a generic basis only, as we cannot provide more in-depth answers without access to your medical history. If you have been sterilised and now wish to conceive you have two options. Firstly you could try to have the sterilisation reversed. The success of this depends on the method used to sterilise you and the amount of fallopian tube that remains. The length of time that you have been sterilised is not important. The other option is to proceed with IVF. On a positive note, you are still young at 32 and would have a good chance of success with IVF.
