Rachael is a qualified midwife with over four years of experience working across a range of NHS hospitals, including Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Croydon University Hospital, and Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust.
After her time in the NHS, Rachael moved into fertility care, most recently working as a Fertility Midwife for over a year. Rachael holds a degree in Midwifery and has completed specialist fertility training, including competency training in nurse-led sedation for theatre procedures such as egg collections, embryo transfers under sedation, and hysteroscopies. She has also received a Daisy Foundation nomination during her time working in fertility.
At Manchester Fertility, Rachael works as a ward nurse, caring for patients attending procedures, as well as supporting recovery following treatment. She works closely with consultants, anaesthetists and embryologists as part of the multidisciplinary team to ensure patients receive safe and seamless care.
“I am enthusiastic to be joining Manchester Fertility and feel privileged to support patients during such an important and personal stage of their journey, alongside a compassionate and highly skilled team.”
