Q: On a recent test , my partner had a low sperm count , 5 million, 3% morphology and 40% motility but only 5% moving forward progressively . We have been trying to conceive for 9 months. I am 36. What do you think our treatment options would be and chances of it working?
This information was published 9 years, 5 months ago and was correct at the time of publication. It may not reflect our current practices or regulations.
The best treatment option for you would be ICSI. It is difficult to give you a complete answer of what the chances are of it working as I don't know your medical history. On average the pregnancy rate for 35-37 years old is around 40%.
Please note that all the answers we give are on a generic basis only, as we cannot provide more in-depth answers without access to your medical history. If you need a more detailed response, tailored to you, we would recommend a consultation with one of our Fertility Specialists for more comprehensive medical advice.
