Q: I am 38 and FSH, LH, AMH are normal. My partner has antibodies causing agglutination 25%. I read IVF can be used after sperm washing. Is it true or do we have to go with ICSI?

A: We would recommend ICSI if your partner has significant antisperm antibodies as you risk having failed fertilisation with IVF especially if you have been trying to conceive for a long time.
Please note that all the answers we give are on a generic basis only, as we cannot provide more in-depth answers without access to your medical history. If you need a more detailed response, tailored to you, we would recommend a consultation with one of our Fertility Specialists for more comprehensive medical advice.
