Q: How long would I have to wait after a period of taking clomid before I can start IVF? I have PCOS and my specialist seemed to think I'd need a break so that I wouldn't be at risk of OHSS.

A: There isn’t a stipulated time after taking Clomid in relation to OHSS. If you are having regular periods then, given that Clomid is a form of ovarian stimulation, it is sensible to allow one normal period after stopping medication before starting IVF.
