Q: I have PCOS and a larger 3cm simple cyst (along with several much smaller). I do not seem to be ovulating and would like to try clomid. I have had all other relevant investigations and so has my partner. I have heard that clomid cannot be given with cysts and am wondering if a 3cm cyst will be a problem or if I can try clomid with monitoring? Thanks.

If you have had only one scan then you should have a repeat in 6 weeks as your cyst may resolve. If unchanged you can have ovulation induction with clomid but you will need a scan on day 11 of your cycle. This will show you ovarian response and whether the cyst has changed.
