Our 2015 IVF and fertility treatment clinical pregnancy results are now updated for the full year and they reveal that IVF success rates at Manchester Fertility are once again consistently high.
Over 53% of women under 35 who came to us for IVF treatment from January to December 2015 achieved pregnancy. This compares to the national IVF clinical pregnancy rate of just over 43%.
It’s also reassuring news if your consultant recommends freezing your embryos, or you choose to freeze any remaining embryos from your treatment with us to use in future IVF cycles.
Frozen Embryo Transfer success rates at Manchester Fertility are 49% for under 35s, thanks to the advanced techniques and technologies we use including ‘fast freeze’ vitrification.
And for older women who come to us for treatment, we again buck the national statistics with almost a quarter of women aged 40-42 (24%) achieving pregnancy using their own eggs in IVF.
If you need IVF with donor eggs – which we can offer with no waiting list - you are also reassured of strong success rates, reinforcing our position as one of the leading donor egg IVF clinics in the UK.
39% of women aged 40-42 and 33% of women aged 43 and above who used donor eggs from our egg donor programme in a fresh cycle achieved pregnancy in 2015.
For women who use frozen embryos from their donor eggs IVF cycle, 42% of women aged 43 and above achieved pregnancy.
If you’re researching IVF clinics, our new updated 2015 clinical pregnancy results – when foetal heartbeat is confirmed - are a useful indication of clinic performance and the success of the treatments and state-of-the-art techniques we use.
It’s important to remember however that every individual patient and their treatment plan is unique. And as such it’s advisable not to use success rates alone when comparing clinics. The HFEA advises caution when a clinic promotes any kind of ‘league table’, as patient profiles differ greatly between clinics. Some IVF clinics may treat more difficult cases than others, or higher numbers of older patients, which naturally affects success rates.
What is important is the likely success rate for you as an individual. At Manchester Fertility, our specialist fertility consultants will devise a full-costed and transparent bespoke treatment plan that gives you the highest chance of success, based on your test results and diagnosis. Additional treatments and technologies will only be recommended if they can positively benefit your likely outcome.
