We’re celebrating. This month marks the tenth anniversary of Manchester Fertility’s Jonathan Koslover (joint) Managing Director.

We sat down with Jonathan and asked those all-important questions; about his role, his biggest achievements over the past ten years and why he loves working at Manchester Fertility.

  1. Tell me about your role as Managing Director?

I am the (joint) Managing Director alongside Dr Debbie Falconer. I am responsible for ensuring Manchester Fertility continues to be one of the UK's most recognised, respected and award-winning fertility clinics. I also continue to drive innovation and inspire and motivate colleagues every day and ensure patients receive the highest standards of care and support.

  1. What is your proudest achievement in the last ten years?

One of my proudest achievements is creating a supportive and caring fertility clinic that has delivered so much happiness to many families.

  1. What have been the biggest changes over the last ten years?

Over the past ten years, there have been many positive changes, from using technology to improving the consistency and quality of the patient experience.

We have also introduced advanced clinical and innovative technology such as Time-lapse, PGT-A, Engaged MD secure consent signing, a more user-friendly website and our patient Salve app.

Another notable change is that our team has increased to almost 90 colleagues from 25.

  1. What is your most memorable moment?

My most memorable moment was when we finally moved into our custom-built state of the art clinic. It was such a milestone for Manchester Fertility, and it is a welcoming environment for our patients and colleagues.

  1. What do you love about working at Manchester Fertility?

There are many things that I love about working at Manchester Fertility; one being able to help change people’s lives and give them happiness by helping them to start a family. Another is being surrounded by passionate, highly skilled and committed colleagues every single day and sharing this enjoyable experience.

  1. Why do you think people choose Manchester Fertility?

People come to Manchester Fertility for the quality of care and treatment that we offer combined with the empathy and support that we give to our patients. We always make sure we are doing the right thing for our patients and put them first.

  1. What has been your biggest challenge?

One of the biggest challenges was moving across to our custom-built clinic in Cheadle. It was a huge success though and a positive move that has helped our patients.

  1. What are your interests outside of work - any hobbies?

I enjoy many keep fit activities including going to the gym, cycling, swimming and a new activity as a very poor practitioner of pilates and yoga. I also like eating out with friends, travel, and theatre (pre-pandemic), listening to music and Netflix (during the pandemic).

  1. Ten’s years on looking back – what advice would you give to yourself just starting at Manchester Fertility?

 Believe and never give up

  1. Looking at the clinic today – what are you looking forward to?

I am looking forward to continuing on our great journey with our expert colleagues who always ensure our patients are at the heart of everything we do.
