All of our egg donors are from the UK and who all have passed the strict screening tests needed to be accepted as HFEA-registered egg donors. This means that they have been tested for common genetic diseases and conditions, have a clear medical history and are all aged 35 or under to ensure that you have the best chance of pregnancy using their egg for your treatment cycle.
But how do you know if you need a donor egg to have a baby? Typically, the types of women who we recommend the use of a donor egg to are those whose own eggs are not viable, either because of their age, a medical condition or previous medical treatment which has affected their fertility.
