Dr Sharon Tay

Dr Sharon Tay is one of our resident fertility doctors here at Manchester Fertility. With a passion for healthcare, she began her career in reproductive medicine by earning her primary medical degree, MB BCh BAO, from the prestigious National University of Ireland (RCSI/RUMC).

Sharon's career has seen her working in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in many hospitals in Malaysia, Ireland and here in Manchester, each experience helping her to become the accomplished fertility specialist she is today. While at St Mary's Hospital in Manchester, Sharon was involved in specialised fertility training, earning a distinguished Fellowship in the Reproductive Medicine and IVF unit. Beyond her clinical pursuits, Sharon has generously shared her wealth of knowledge by teaching medical students.

Further acknowledgements come from the British Fertility Society, where Sharon gained her certification in Pelvic Ultrasound and Management of Infertile Couples and memberships from the Royal College of Physicians Ireland and the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.

With a wealth of experience, we are delighted to have Sharon as part of our resident doctor team here at Manchester Fertility, where she will join our team of esteemed doctors conducting clinical consultations and performing egg retrievals for IVF/ICSI, IUI and embryo transfers.
