Before joining Manchester Fertility, Katerina has been the clinical lead of the Hewitt Centre, a large mixed NHS and private IVF unit where she was also lead for fertility preservation.

Katerina’s consultant job on the NHS was a joint job between the Liverpool Women's Hospital and Alder Hey hospital where she worked as a paediatric gynaecologist leading on fertility preservation. She has a special interest in precision gynaecology and has pursued additional training for this.

Katerina has always been passionate about women's health and reproductive medicine as it is such a rewarding specialty. She loves the science of reproduction as well as the relationships that she gets to build with her patients. Being able to help people navigate complex fertility journeys is a privilege she doesn’t take lightly.

In her day-to-day role, Katerina will be involved in all aspects of clinical care, egg collections and embryo transfers. She finds her role gives her the opportunity to really personalise the care she can provide in a state-of-the-art fertility clinic
