Vinayak joined our team of consultant anaesthetists in July 2023 to support patients here at our private clinic in addition to those he supports while working at the tertiary obstetric unit at Manchester Foundation Trust.

Supporting patients perioperatively for the last ten years, Vinayak specialises in anaesthesia for gynaecology procedures, renal transplants, and obstetrics. Although he focuses on maternal and pre-op medicine, he does have a background in regional anaesthesia for trauma and orthopaedics.

Academically, Vinayak has completed many qualifications in both the UK and India. He holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery, Doctor of Medicine, Fellowship of the Royal College of Anaesthetists and European Diploma in Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care qualifications. He is committed to sharing his knowledge, having continued his training to complete a Postgraduate Certification in Medical Education.

Vinayak enjoys working as an anaesthetist because it provides the opportunity to work with a big team in very challenging but rewarding circumstances. He takes fulfilment in providing professional, excellent-quality care with a smile.
