Jay is a Consultant Anaesthetist here at Manchester Fertility and in the NHS at a busy tertiary hospital at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust.

Jay obtained her medical degree from Madras Medical College, one of the premier medical institutions in India, and she pursued her postgraduate medical training in the UK. She attained a Fellowship of the Royal College of Anaesthetists (FRCA) qualification and completed specialist anaesthetic training in Scotland and Manchester. She has also undertaken postgraduate courses in Medical Education and Medical Leadership.

Jay's sub-speciality interest is in anaesthesia for complex head and neck surgery, perioperative medicine, and procedural sedation. She is part of the executive committee of the Manchester Perioperative Medicine Society and teaches the National Safe Sedation (NSS) course and local sedation courses. Jay's passion extends beyond the operating room; she's deeply committed to the well-being of both staff and patients.
