Before joining Manchester Fertility, Rebecca worked in a pharmacy where she developed strong customer service skills and learned to help people feel at ease in every interaction.
Whilst working in the pharmacy, Rebecca frequently dispensed medication for women undergoing IVF treatment. This exposure sparked a deep interest in the IVF process and egg donation. So, when the opportunity arose to join the egg donation team at Manchester Fertility, she was thrilled to be a part of something so meaningful.
As a Donor Programme Assistant, Rebecca supports new and returning egg donors. Her role involves answering questions, addressing concerns, and ensuring that each donor’s journey is as smooth and stress-free as possible. She works with the dedicated donation team to provide care and guidance from start to finish.
"Having faced my own challenges with pregnancy, being part of a team that helps bring joy to families and supports egg donors throughout their journey is incredibly rewarding. It takes a truly special person to donate to help others, and I feel so proud to be part of that process and contribute in any way I can."
