Because of the personal and sensitive nature of using donor eggs to conceive, you’re not left on your own to prepare for your journey at Manchester Fertility.

You’ll be supported by our Donation Team, from the moment you enquire about treatment with donor eggs.

All patients who hope to use an egg donor for pregnancy are under the personal care of this special team of clinic staff, a team purposely brought together to give people essential one-on-one support every step of the way.

You’ll always have a personal, named contact to speak to at any time, for treatment updates and progress.

About our Donation Team

Our Donor Programme Assistants co-ordinate everything to do with your cycle – from consultation appointments, screening and counselling to helping you find your perfect egg donor from our own Manchester Donors UK egg donor programme.

Amy Jacobs, Sarah Rydzynski and Stephanie Lynch are your support network. They get to know you and your partner well so they can give you the support you each need, ensuring you always both feel included and informed at all times.

They’ll give you advice on how to prepare for your treatment – such as making any lifestyle changes if your BMI is high – and tell you what to expect at your appointments.

Additional professional support

You’ll also be professionally supported by our fertility counsellors, Helen Bohme, Sharon Rodden and Gabrielle Goad. Treatment with donor eggs has special implications for you, your partner and your future child which you need to consider.

Counselling is included in your treatment and happens early in the process, so you each have the opportunity to talk through how you feel about using an egg donor to conceive and all that it entails.

Using donor eggs: Always someone to talk to

Our entire clinic team is here to help you when you’re having a baby using donor eggs. There will always be someone to help with your queries or concerns and put your mind at rest. You can get in touch with us on 0161 300 2737, you’ll also be given our emergency out of hours contact details as you progress through treatment, so you can speak to someone 24/7.
