We started our journey with Manchester Fertility in March 2024, when we attended one of their Open Days. From the moment we walked through the doors, we received a warm and inclusive welcome. We immediately knew this was the place we wanted to receive treatment.
Following discussions with the team, we opted for ICSI with donor sperm. Unfortunately, our first cycle was cancelled due to poor response to stimulation medications. The doses of these were adjusted for the next cycle, which was successful! On the 27th of June 2025, we welcomed our beautiful baby boy, Ruaridh, into the world.
We will be forever grateful to Manchester Fertility for their exceptional care and support throughout our journey. In particular, we would like to thank Dr Sharon Tay for collecting Sarah’s eggs, the Embryology team for growing and looking after our precious embryos, and lovely Dr Peter Kerecsenyi for transferring the little embryo that stuck!
