Chloe & Leah
We found Manchester Fertility on social media in 2023 and came to one of their open days, which made us fall in love with them straight away. After being with the NHS for so long and trying to save up for 2 years we finally decided to go back to Manchester Fertility in 2025.

From the first day we stepped into the clinic, we were welcomed with open arms, from the receptionists, to everyone we met along the way. The clinic is clean, professional, and every single member of staff spoke to you more like a friend and not just a patient.
Once we’d had our consultation, we never looked back. It felt like such a safe place, everyone was very inclusive and understanding about what we wanted, so no other clinic could have compared in our eyes.

Dr Peter guided us through the process. During our face-to-face consultation, he listened carefully to what we wanted from our journey and showed understanding. As a couple, we have always known that we wanted to go with IUI with it being a less invasive treatment.
We decided to select a 3 cycle package and were successful on round 2! Chloe wanted to be the one that carried our child/children as she was the eldest of the two of us, so it made more sense for us. Her BMI was a little high for us to start the process, so before we started or even booked in for a consultation, Chloe lost 2st 8lbs for us to be able to start.
We wanted a sperm donor that matched Leah’s personality, looks and ethnicity. Leahs family originate from Malaysia, so we wanted someone to match their skin colour well.

The people who made our journey special
Throughout our journey, we’ve been lucky enough to meet some truly lovely people who have made such a difference to our experience.
Dr Peter – He was lovely, very understanding, a great listener and caring. He made us feel listened to and supported from the very beginning.
Claire Pickering – We had a counselling session with Claire before starting our first round of IUI, and she was lovely. She spoke to us like a friend and made sure we understood everything about what our journey could involve. She helped us feel more prepared for the road ahead.
Kate Godding – Kate was our nurse for our first round of IUI, and again, what a lovely lady! She was very understanding and made us feel safe and supported throughout our treatment.
Kirsty Turner – Kirsty was our second nurse for round two, and she was lovely. She treated us like a friend, laughed with us, showed emotion and was genuinely supportive. It meant so much to have someone who made us feel so comfortable during such an important time in our lives.
Our Sonographer who did our first scan talked us through everything and was genuinely so happy and excited for us. Her enthusiasm made the experience even more special.
We’re so grateful to everyone who has been part of our journey and for the kindness, care and support they have shown us along the way.

We would absolutely recommend Manchester Fertility to anyone considering fertility treatment. Everything about the clinic is what you want when trying for the baby you have always dreamed of!
And our Albert is a testament to that. We owe Manchester Fertility the world and we cannot wait to be able to start the process again for baby number two in the future!
