We started our journey the day after our wedding in 2022, and wow, was it a whirlwind!
Our most recent egg collection was performed by Dr Sharon, who was so informative and reassuring. She went out of her way to check on me, even when her day was done. Dr Sharon will always be held in such high regard by us, as she was a huge part of our journey to Honey.
Dr Peter did our embryo transfer, and again, we couldn't speak more highly of him. He's so friendly and warm, and he made the whole procedure feel a lot less like a procedure.
I must give a huge thank-you to Samantha Potts for her care after my egg collections, to Harriet for answering our endless questions, and to the team of embryologists who took great care of our embryos.
But my biggest thank-you must go to Ceri Fox. What a woman! Even if my appointment wasn't with her, she'd come out to the waiting room to see how our journey was going and showed genuine love to us.
Though the journey was long and challenging, with loss and hurt, I'd do it 1000 times over to get to Honey, but we couldn't have done it without the team's support. We can never express our thanks enough for the amazing science, care and love poured into our journey to becoming mums.
