Donation

We are one of the only fertility clinics in the country to have our own HFEA-licensed donor banks for UK donor sperm and donor eggs.

We recruit our own donors through our Manchester Donors and Semovo programmes. Every donor has been fully health-screened according to strict UK regulations and is identifiable to your child in future through the HFEA’s Register.

As a National Gamete Donation Trust Centre of Excellence, you can have treatment knowing that your donor has been given exceptional care and support by our dedicated Donation Team.

Treatment Add-ons

Our regulator The HFEA has developed a traffic light rating system to enable clinics to publish clear patient information on the efficacy of treatments and treatment add-ons.

Those rated RED suggests that there is no evidence that this add-on is effective and safe. Those rated AMBER suggests that there is a conflicting body of evidence for this add-on but with further research required.

You can read more about the most common treatment add-ons, how effective they are and what the traffic light rating system means on the HFEA website.
