Many IVF and infertility treatment clinics will give you an idea of fees. But not many are clear about what is and isn’t excluded in the price.
We hear from many potential patients that on comparing IVF costs between clinics, there can be large differences in what you seem to pay for treatment.
This is because many clinics do not include the costs associated with IVF, such as consultations, routine tests and drugs, when quoting example fees. That way, they can seem cheaper than others. They will mention that the price does not include these items, but give you no indication of what the costs are.
At Manchester Fertility Services, we believe in being open and honest with all of our patients about what exactly they are getting and how much IVF or other treatments, can cost. We know from our patients that many save up for long periods to afford treatment, so the last thing we want to do is give you the wrong impression about cost.
The prices you see below are all inclusive, and therefore will give you a very good indication of what a basic IVF cycle at Manchester Fertility Services costs, with no unexpected extra bills or charges for routine tests and the necessary drugs you will need.
Please note however these prices are approximate – everyone’s treatment path will be different, for example each patient we treat will need different courses of drugs which can be more or less expensive, dependent upon their needs. You will receive a fully-costed treatment plan from our consultants.
So if you are comparing IVF treatment costs, make sure you ask for a total figure that includes any drugs, routine tests, scans, licence fees and screening costs. That way, you can be sure that you’re not going to be misled and you can accurately compare clinics.
