Clinical Embryologist

Claire gained the Certificate in Clinical Embryology in 2010. She’s been part of our Embryology team since 2005 following years of experience in the NHS. She’s one of the team members who performs ICSI procedures – which involves injecting a single, healthy sperm into an egg to fertilise it, rather than mixing sperm and egg together as in standard IVF.

Claire says: “It’s so amazing to see the very moment the sperm is injected – and then when we find out it’s been successful and there’s a baby on the way, it’s such an incredible feeling for all of us.”
