Transferral of frozen embryos?
I have a beautiful daughter born through donor insemination with 2 more frozen embryos available. I had the treatment down south before I moved to the Lake District. Can frozen embryos be transferred to Manchester Fertility Services so I can have further treatment up here and if so, will the transfer affect the chance of success? Thank you

Frozen embryos are routinely transferred between different units. They are carried in a special vessel called a ‘dry shipper’. This keeps the embryos at the required temperature and the chance of success with these embryos is not affected. It is easy to transfer your embryos to Manchester Fertility. You would need to come into the unit and see one of the doctors and complete some consent forms to enable the embryologist to arrange the transfer. The embryos can be transported by yourselves or by a specialist courier company.
