Only IVF or natural method still possible?
Hello there, my husband and I have been trying to conceive for nearly two and a half years. I am 29 years old and my husband 34 years old. We had all our preliminary tests done including hormonal analysis, hysterosalpingogram for myself and both were normal. As part of infertility test my husband's semen analysis was done and sperm count, morphology of sperm, motility of sperm everything said normal... but at the end of the report it said that suitable for IVF. I don't understand what it means. Does it mean we can have children only through IVF or is natural method still possible? Can you please kindly highlight whether natural conception is still an option?

If you are undergoing tests in an Assisted Conception Unit the semen analysis report will sometimes recommend if IVF or ICSI is required if you were to come through for treatment. As the semen analysis is within normal parameters and from the other medical history you have supplied the reason you have not yet conceived is still unexplained. It is still possible for you to conceive naturally and it is sensible to keep trying while you are waiting for further advice from your Doctors.
