Testicular torsion, am I infertile?

Hi
At the age of 22 I had testicular torsion, sunsequently losing my right testicle. At the time of the surgery the right testicle was saved but then later died. I'm just wondering if this has had a negative effect on my left testicle. I have been trying to conceive for about 10 months now and I'm now really worried that I may be infertile due having one testicle. My partner did have a contraceptive implant for about 1 and a half years - does this effect it in any way?

This is very easy to investigate. I advise to book a semen analysis to check your sperm quality. Infertility itself is quite a complex issue. I would recommend to book it in the frame of Fertility MOT which comes with the necessary basic tests and a 30 minute consultation with a doctor.
