What do we care about?

Private fertility clinics and indeed NHS units come under the spotlight from time to time, usually when there’s an exaggerated story to tell about the fees charged for treatment or how couples spend thousands of pounds over many years in their bid to have a baby.

So you may be wondering if you’re researching fertility treatment and clinics how you can find a clinic you can trust.

In the case of private infertility clinics, how can you be sure that they’ll put you first, and not their profits? For NHS, how can you be sure that they do give you the best treatment for your needs without the cost and treatment plan being dictated by a Primary Care Trust – which always has one eye on the budget?

At Manchester Fertility we have - and always have had - only one priority. And that is you. We don’t recommend treatment that we don’t think will work for you, because it might make better profits. We don’t give you false hope with exaggerated success claims, letting you go through IVF cycle after IVF cycle spending more and more money when really a different approach is needed. And we don’t ‘hide’ details of extra costs to make us seem lower in price than other clinics – we’re totally transparent about our fees.

We do this because we recognised over 25 years ago, when we first started offering infertility treatment, that what people want more than anything isn’t just a baby, but a clinic they can trust to take them on this personal journey.

We pride ourselves on the fact that we get to know all of our patients very well – you’re never just another number to us, it’s why so many of our patients share their joy with us when their babies are born, because as a team it means the world to us.

Our support and care of you is at the forefront of everything we do. We’re not a big chain of infertility clinics spread across the UK – we’re simply a small and friendly unit where we hope you’ll feel at ease about needing help to have your baby.

Indeed, some of our staff members have been with us since we first opened our doors in 1986, and through their dedication have enjoyed helping over 4,000 babies into the world right from when IVF was still seen as a breakthrough, new treatment.

Being small and friendly of course doesn’t come at the expense of expertise. We have some of the best consultants and specialists in their field here to help you, dedicated to issues such as recurrent miscarriage and men who need surgical help to use their own sperm. Our success rates are consistent and we treat women of all ages to have a baby along with same-sex couples, single women and guidance for those who need a surrogate.

All of these reasons are why, after 25 years, we’re still one of the most respected infertility clinics not only in Manchester and the North West region but the whole of the UK. We hope that you will come and visit us for yourself at one of our next free open evenings to see just why so many people trust us help make them a family.
