Time-Lapse EmbryoScope gives you a video showing the development of your baby from the very earliest stage of cell division, right up to the creation of the embryo.
But the use of this technology isn’t just to show you the moment of conception. It is used by our team to help identify which of your embryos are the best to transfer, whilst keeping your embryos in optimum incubator conditions.
EmbryoScope incubators are very high-tech pieces of lab equipment, which take continuous photographs as your embryos grow and develop. These photographs are then combined to create a time-lapse video showing development at every vital stage, which our embryology team assess.
This highly-detailed analysis enhances the information we have about your embryos, showing us which have the highest potential for pregnancy.
Time-Lapse EmbryoScope is an optional part of your treatment, which you can add to your cycle if you would like us to use this technology for your embryos. Your slot in the incubator can hold up to 12 of your eggs/embryos.
If you don’t wish to include it, your embryos will be developed in our state-of-the-art incubators, on which the EmbryoScope is actually based. Our highly-trained and experienced embryologists select your embryos using standard culture techniques, which have resulted in many years of successful and consistent pregnancy rates.
