Hi Brian, we are about to embark on IVF. We have a son who is two and since his birth I have had three miscarriages and two ectopic pregnancies, one of which was treated with a right sided salpingectomy and one with methotrexate. We have been trying now for 18 months. I have had scans and have found no reason for infertility. I came to the clinic to see about egg sharing but AMH was 8.2 so we are not eligible. I am 31 and St Marys hopsital didn't want to do semen analysis on my partner as they thought the problem was definitely with me. We have an appointment with a consultant next week and I wondered how long it takes generally to begin treatment from the consultation.
