I have heard there is a link between PCOS and autism. Is there any way to prevent this? Can a mother with PCOS do certain things to ensure that her unborn child does not risk being born with austim?

A recent study suggests that unbalanced exposure to high levels of testosterone during pregnancy may be responsible for a higher risk of autism spectrum disorders. There is currently no treatment to reduce this testosterone treatment during pregnancy. The best advice is to prepare for the pregnancy with weight loss and taking Metformin may reduce the serum testosterone level.
