A leading Manchester fertility clinic has launched a new online service which allows people to seek free fertility advice anonymously from their team of experts.
Manchester Fertility Services’ ‘Ask the Professor’ online tool at www.manchesterfertility.com allows people to submit questions to its founder Professor Brian Lieberman and the clinic’s team of embryologists, andrologists and consultants.
The clinic created the tool as part of its new-look website, following consultation with patients about what they would find helpful when initially seeking fertility treatment.
Professor Brian Lieberman says: “We know that many of our patients find it quite daunting to go to a fertility clinic, so we created ‘Ask the Professor’ to enable people to take that first step anonymously. They can ask us any question they may have about their own diagnosis and circumstances, we then post a response online, so others can read it who may be in the same situation.
“It’s only been going a few weeks and we’ve already answered 35 questions covering a range of topics, from women suffering from Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome who need treatment advice to older would-be mothers wanting to know about their chances of success after the age of 40.
"We have regular open evenings where people can come to visit us, but this new tool really gives them the chance to ask questions that are more personal. We’re glad it’s such a success as we’re committed to making fertility treatment a more open, relaxed process for those who need it.”
You can submit your question at http://www.manchesterfertility.com/patients/ask-professor-brian/
